Alex G Nichols was born July 10, 1998, in Little Rock, AR. When Alex was a young boy, he loved to play every sport including football, basketball, baseball, and video games. Alex was a very smart young man who always kept good grades with very little effort. He was known to be a wiz in Mathematics. He was a very determined and goal-driven young man. At the young age of 12 for his birthday he asked for a lawnmower for his gift. This gift was the beginning of his own lawn business. He even had other young men working for him!
Alex attended Little Rock Central High for most of his high school days but was a graduate of North Little Rock High School. He continued his education at Henderson State University where he majored in Engineering. Alex was such a joy to be around and had a contagious spirit. Even when you wanted to be mad at him you couldn't stay mad for long. He would somehow find a way to make you laugh and forget all about it.
Alex loved the Lord and accepted Christ at a very young age. He was not ashamed to let anyone know he believed in Jesus Christ—it was not uncommon for him to pull up in any neighborhood bumping Mary Mary who was one of his favorite artists!
On September 4, 2023, Alex was called home by our God to transition to rest eternally with our savior! He leaves to cherish with so many great memories his mother Angela Nichols; son Alex G. Nichols, Jr. (AJ); sisters Rakiya Nichols and Amaya Elmore; grandparents Gregory and Debora Harris; Uncle Christopher Harris; aunties Danielle Harris and Natalie (Keith) Johnson; nieces Ayva McKinney, Londyn Holloway and Ryleigh Holloway; nephews Aydin McKinney and Felix Holloway. A host of great uncles, aunties, and cousins.
A Special thanks to the families of Christie Williams and Katisha Williams for accepting Alex as one of their own loved ones.
