Mary Ethel Davis

The eldest of nine children, Mary Ethel “Bogan: Davis, was born May 5, 1935, to Earl and Mattie Bogan in College Station, Arkansas.

She accepted Christ at a young age and was one of the 14 founding members of Second Baptist Church in 1964 and was a member until she departed this life.

Mary departed life on this side Saturday June 3rd, 2023. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her brother Willie Bogan. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Lovell Davis, her daughters, Marcia Taylor Graves, Loretta Moye, Bonus Daughter LaShay (DeWayne), Wilson. Her Siblings- Sammie (Eula) Bogan, Allene “Lucille” Johnson, Thomas Louis Bogan, Deborah (Brian) Pediford, Freddie Saucer, Pamela Saucer, and Veverly Saucer. Her grandchildren-Eric (Denesha)Carbin, LaShana (Taris)Vaughan, LaJoyia (Mark) Lewis, LaTisha Middleton; Bonus grandchildren: Khyi’-Asia Ramey, Khyi-Lond Ladd, Khyi’-Lee Ladd, Khyi’-Trell Wilson, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, church family, and friends.
