Sedgwick Ambrus Obituary

Sedgwick "Seddy D" Ambrus was born Mach 3, 1966, in Little Rock, AR to Harold and Earlene Ambrus.

He was Earlene's second born, after his sister Kimberly Smith. Growing up, Sed attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School, Southwest Middle School, and graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1984. Throughout his grade school years, he participated in many sports, including football, track, and basketball.

Sed would go on to become a father of three: Sedgwick M. Ambrus, Sydney G. Ambrus, and Cason C. Ambrus.

In 1999, he married Tamman "Tooti" Ambrus, the mother to Sydney and Cason. Sed and Tooti shared over 24 years together. He loved her cooking. He referred to her as the love of his life and soulmate.

Sed was known to be the life of the party. He was outspoken and always said what was on his mind. He was an animated storyteller and was the comic relief to his family and friends' lives.

Sed loved the restaurant business and worked in various kitchens throughout the state, where he made many friends. He decided to take a new career path and attended Arkansas State University and received his Commercial Drivers Licenses.

He was a sport motorcycle enthusiast and rider. In his early years, he could be seen tearing up the pavement on any given Sunday, daring anyone to compete. He was an avid sports watcher and spent countless hours watching the NBA and NFL. He loved the Miami Dolphins and was a Lebron James super fan.

On October 20, 2023, Sed departed this life. He is preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Earlene Ambrus and father Mr. Harold Ambrus.
